TKI 3
Versatile opener that starts with a T-Spin Double and leaves room for more.
If you want to get serious about competitive Tetris, then you will need to learn at least a few openers. An opener is a pattern that players stack their tetrominos in to send an attack to their opponent. There are hundreds, if not thousands of openers that people have created over the years, some of them being the best and some of them being downright useless. Every good competitive Tetris player knows at least one opener, so to compete with these players, you need to learn an opener of your own. You will see lots of T-Spins, and the reason they are used so often is because they send a greater attack with less lines, making them more efficient than a Tetris.
This website contains some of my favorite openers that I use frequently whenever I play a competitive Tetris match. These openers are pretty easy to learn, and they either send big attacks or set you up for efficient stacking. I will be using TETR.IO to demonstrate these openers. TETR.IO is a free web-based Tetris clone that hosts thousands of players and has a ranked system that you would find congruent with many other competitive games. Many of the world's best Tetris players use TETR.IO because it has advanced features like adjustable handling and easy custom matches. You can play it here. If you would like to learn more about Tetris, then visit the Hard Drop Wiki. It has pretty much anything you could want to know about Tetris, like openers, combos, and tools to improve your game.
